SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The services position created for intervention encounters a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sassa status check assets to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
